Autumn Pathways

Pathways are trodden
in forest leaves
across meadow grasses
between familiar memories
among unfolding dreams
through the minutes
and the days
and the years
of a passionate life
so that maybe
someone else
might follow
and find the treasures
too.

Psalms 46:10-11

Thanks, Jonathan. May you find many treasures walking God's pathways as you come behind all of us "old-timers."

Kirkhaven is so lovely this time of year!

Thanks for posting pictures of the trees, Lesa! They're absolutely gorgeous! I am relishing the fall beauty surrounding us here in the valley right now! I studied some outside today in Circle Park in between classes because it was just so beautiful out there!

Liz, I remember sitting outside on the lawn at Circle Park studying my anthropology. That was one of my favorite places to study, especially in the fall.

My dear Rachel, I truly hope next autumn will see you safely settled in our beautiful East Tennessee! In the mean time . . . enjoy your blizzards! I hope to see my first one this Christmas with you!
